Valentin printer as a part of complex RFID solutions With the development of the RFID printer solution, Carl Valentin is taking a further step into the future. Here, simplicity and practicality are central:
- The user can easily programme and print existing tags
- The necessary hardware is integrated into the printer
- The user must only define the data to be programmed.
Our RFID solutions can be integrated into a variety of printing systems. There is also the option to upgrade printers already in use with RFID functionality. With the integrated writing unit, tags for the HF range (13.56 MHz) or the UHF range (868 MHz) can be programmed, depending on the application. A tag to be programmed can be defined very easily with our label design software LABELSTAR OFFICE (not yet fully implemented). As a further development, we are offering a slap & ship solution as a simple standalone starting solution. With the combination of RFID printer, barcode scanner and RFID tags to be described, equipping outgoing goods pallets with EPC Global-standard RFID UHF GEN 2 tags is easy and can be done without additional hardware and software. The supplier continues to print its label for the pallet as before. At goods issue, it scans in the correct barcode with a hand-held scanner (the latter is directly connected to the printer). The printer computes the desired EPC, programmes the tag and prints out the logistics label. Various codes are supported (SSCC96, SGTIN96, SGLN96, GRAI96, GIAI96). Carl Valentin thus presents itself as a pioneer in the development of user-orientated printer solutions in the RFID field, which can be used in a wide variety of sectors:
- Points of sale
- Library systems
- Luggage labels
- Healthcare / patient identification
- Supply chain management
- Retail
